Peter Russell - What is the Self?

In this great short clip Peter Russell tackles the ultimate introspective question - Who am I?

Peter Russell - From Science to God

The above is an abridged DVD presentation of Peter Russell's latest book on consciousness research, "From Science to God." I highly recommend both the video and his book which is available to read in full for free on his website. Read Peter Russell's "From Science to God"

“Nothing in Western science predicts that any living creature should be conscious. It is easier to explain how hydrogen evolved into other elements, how they combined to form molecules, and then simple living cells, and how these evolved into complex beings such as ourselves than it is to explain why we should ever have a single inner experience.” -Peter Russell, “From Science to God”

Peter Russell - The Primacy of Consciousness

This is a presentation given at the "Physics of Consciousness" conference in which Peter Russell explores the mystery of consciousness from both scientific and mystical perspectives, showing how light is intrinsic to both, and giving a coherent argument as to why consciousness is the fundamental essence of the cosmos.
